This week we will finish "How-to" writing and Cause and Effect.  We will continue to learn about Force and Motion and start a new math unit.  We will also learn about Homonyms.  We have the following field trips scheduled for April:

Wizard of Oz-April 10th

Museum of Natural History-April 25th

I have also scheduled another pottery project this month on the 17th and 24th.  I will need parent helpers from 9:45 - Noon on both days.  Please let me know if you are available to help.

First grade is performing at the Award's Assembly on  Friday, April 26th at 10:00am.  The theme is "Earth Day".  Parents are invited to attend.
