We survived the first full week of school!  No one got too terribly lost, everyone is very tired (from working so hard) and everyone finally gets on the right bus!  Yipee! Seriously though, the children are doing great and have learned quite a bit of Spanish.  They have learned the routines in both classes and are doing them well.  We are learning word families (at, ap, and an), reading, and writing about ourselves.  Señora Perez has begun the math program and everyone can count to 10 in Spanish.  They  are also learning the Spanish alphabet. I hope every student is working on homework as it is due on Monday.  Please remember that Friday is also the spelling test.  The blue group went to the library today and the red group will go on Friday.  We learned the library rules and next week we will start checking out books.  We are reading the first Magic Tree House book and the kiddos are loving it.  Now, everyone wants to read them!
